Lifecycle Management

Life Cycle Management (LCM) Practices are supplementary to the Nortel Corporate Policies and Procedures regarding Product Design / Life Cycle Management and Solutions Introduction / Life Cycle Management. LCM Practices contained are documented standard practices delineating Product Status Rules during the Production and Retirement phases of the Corporate Life Cycle Management framework. "Product Status" is a term used to define the design status of a product (hardware, software and/or services) during the various stages of its life cycle. Each Product Status-name aligns to a LCM business decision point, and should be used to describe the level of product quality and/or commit to levels of service and support. Deviation from Standard LCM Practice requires pre-approval by LCM Governance Council.

Life Cycle Communications
Product Life Cycle bulletins are published to the Technical Support web site. Users may configure an Email Alert in order to receive automatic notification when a new Product Lifecycle bulletin has been published.

Enterprise Networks Life Cycle Practice is supplementary to the Nortel Corporate Policies and Procedures regarding Product Design / Life Cycle Management and Solutions Introduction / Life Cycle Management.
