Where To Find Technical Configuration Guides
2008-05-23

Over the last 12 months there have been a number of Nortel Enterprise product/solution Technical Configuration Guides (TCG), Solution Guides (TSG) and Tools created and or updated, which are available at www.nortel.com. The Enterprise Solutions Engineering (ESE) team felt it imperative to summarize and bring them to your attention, as you may have missed their release announcements. It is important to also point out the contributions of other teams and individuals within Enterprise that help complement this documentation; it is truly a team effort.

Technical Solution Guides (TSG) provide the overall solution concepts and design best practices for various Enterprise applications and services. The critical features and design concepts are covered within the TSG and show how to best design solutions that incorporate the various pieces within the product portfolios. The TSG identifies “what to do”.

Technical Configuration Guides (TCG) provide detailed configuration examples for customers/partners to successfully implement network solutions based on various Nortel products and features. Technical Solution Guides (TSG) provide an overview and set of recommendations for the design best practices to implement and support an Enterprise applications and services. The TCG identifies “how to do it”.
