Business issues related to the European Union market were closed in June, 2002. Products included in the transaction were CVX 1800 Multi-Service Access Switch, CVX 600 Multi-Service Access Switch, CVX SS7 Gateway, CVX Policy Manager, and the CVX Unified Network Manager. As of May 12, Aastra has assumed all responsibilities for the products, including manufacture, sales, warranty, support, and development activities. Headquartered in Concord, Ontario, Aastra develops and markets products and systems for accessing communication networks (including the Internet). Aastra serves the majority of telephone companies and certain cable operators and broadcasters in North America, with a growing presence in Europe, South America, and Asia.
