Nortel and VoltDelta, a wholly owned subsidiary of Volt Information Sciences, Inc. have concluded an agreement under which Nortel will contribute certain assets and liabilities of its directory and operator services (D&OS) business to VoltDelta.

Nortel and VoltDelta will work to accelerate development and improve interoperability for the next generation of directory assistance solutions. Nortel will continue to retain in-house its Operator Services business.
