Access to "My Nortel Networks" Web Communities


The registration process to Nortel's My Nortel Networks (MyNN) and the "Documentation for Suppliers" community is designed for remote configuration to ensure maximum flexibility. The following are the instructions of how these access privileges can be requested and set up for the designated "Documentation for Suppliers" community of this site.

To request access
(Note - This portion does not apply to Nortel Employees)
  • Open a web browser session, e.g. Internet Explorer.
  • Go to www.nortel.com/mynn
  • Click on the "Register" link on the upper left hand side.
  • Click on the "Register" button.
  • Follow the registration instructions that will ask for your coordinates.
    Note: If you are a supplier, register as a [Guest].
  • Once the registration process confirmed, you should receive an e-mail asking you to activate your account. Please follow the instructions to do so.
  • Once you have activated your account, you will need to log into MyNN once so we can see your account and register you.
To login
  • Open a web browser session, e.g. MSIE.
  • Go to www.nortel.com/mynn
  • Click on the "Login" link on the upper left hand side.
  • Enter your e-mail account as user ID and the password you specified when you opened a SAM ID account on MyNN as password.
    • Note: If using a Nortel CNT ID, enter your CNT ID as user ID and your NorPASS as password.
    • Note: If a Nortel employee, enter your Global ID as user ID and your NorPASS as password.
  • Click on the "Log In" button.
  • Once in, close your session & confirm by e-mail, to a MyNN "Documentation for Suppliers" Community Manager, that you have done so.
Once you become a member of the MyNN "Documentation for Suppliers" community, to access:
  • Open a web browser session, e.g. MSIE.
  • Go to www.nortel.com/mynn
  • Click on the "Login" link on the upper left hand side.
  • Enter your e-mail account as user ID and the password you specified when you opened a SAM ID account on MyNN as password.
    • Note: If using a Nortel CNT ID, enter your CNT ID as user ID and your NorPASS as password.
    • Note: If a Nortel employee, enter your Global ID as user ID and your NorPASS as password.
  • Click on the "Log In" button.
  • Click on the "Documentation for Suppliers" link that should be under the "My Communities" on the lower left hand side or also on the lower right hand side.
  • Click on the "File Exchange" link, the one that is not underlined or the hotlink located in the left column under "Documentation for Suppliers".
  • Click on any folder of interest.
    • Click on the "View" link next to any document file of interest.

Note:  All non-Nortel members added to the MyNN "Documentation for Suppliers" community need to be “sponsored” by a Supply Management Relationship or Supply Chain Quality prime that can attest that the necessary confidentiality/non-disclosure agreements are in place with the external party in question.
