TeleDirectory interfaces to Nortel's Console Interface Unit (CIU) and the Meridian M2250 PBX Attendant Console. This integration allows telephone attendants to control the operation of the console from Conveyant's TeleDirectory application providing integrated directory access and call processing.TeleDirectory for the Meridian Console offers flexible, user-defined information databases with integrated dialing. These information databases may contain people, services, products, customer data and other information for use in a variety of ways. Call processing efficiency is greatly enhanced with the ability to maintain and update directory information on a real-time basis. TeleDirectory databases may be configured in a white-page or yellow-page format with several pages of detail information available for each entry. Additional TeleDirectory features include numerous search methods, password-protected access, on-screen Help and comprehensive system statistics.TeleDirectory for the Meridian Console directly interfaces to Nortel's Console Interface Unit or Meridian M2250 Attendant Console and operates as an adjunct to either unit. The user may map the line and feature keys to user-defined PC keyboard access keys with operator prompts provided in the telephone window. All line and feature keys available to the attendants from the CIU/M2250 are available from the console PC.TeleDirectory for the Meridian Console provides a rich set of enhancements such as prioritized call answering by the ”NEXT” key, number-to-name lookup and user-defined hot keys for feature and line access for efficient call handling. TeleDirectory has extensive call traffic statistics collection and reporting facilities to help call center administrators fine tune their operation.
