- Select Product Enterprise Developer Partner Carrier Open Developer The Mediatrix 1102 VoIP access device is equipped with two FXS ports and two 10/100 BaseT Ethernet ports, providing full duplex audio/fax communications over MGCP and SIP-based networks for telephones or Group 3 type fax machines and can also act as an analog-IP gateway connecting a legacy key system or small PBX into an IP network. Deployable behind a DSL or cable modem, the 1102's second Ethernet port can connect a PC or LAN to a Wide Area Network. In the Communication Server 2000 (MCGP & SIP) and 2100 architecture (MCGP) or the Application Server 5200 (fka MCS 5200)/5100 (SIP), the 1102 connects analog devices to an IP telephony network. Used at the desktop in residential or very small enterprise sites, the Mediatrix 1102 is an ideal CPE platform for connecting two phones or faxes and a PC or LAN into an IP network.
