Registered Product configuration and testing notes for 4100 Gateway Series with Application Server 5200 (fka MCS 5200)

The test effort verified a basic level of interoperability between the Mediatrix 1100 and 4100 series, and Nortel’s Application Server 5200 (AS 5200) Release MCS09. This successful testing establishes the Mediatrix 1100 and 4100 series as a Nortel registered product for the releases tested. Testing included basic communication and basic call functionality between the devices. It is the service provider’s responsibility to perform appropriate system and network integration of the Mediatrix 1100 and 4100 series with the AS 5200 based on their network deployment requirements.

Nortel testing included:

SIP DTMF - Transport Reliability
SIP Client Instant Messaging (IM) - receive instant    messages

-IM --- Mediatrix handles it gracefully with a 405 (Method Not Allowed)
