Compatible Product configuration and testing notes for Infinity by Amtelco with Communication Server 1000 E/M


The attendant console functionalities of the Infinity system was tested and are verified as compatible with CS 1000 Release 5.5 with the following notes:

NOTE 1: VOICE MAIL

CS 1000 5.5- ---------Q.SIG ---------- Infinity

Using the configuration above:
1. Make a call from a DN on CS 1000 Release 5.5 to the attendant on Infinity
2. The Infinity attendant answers the call and transfers the call to a second DN on CS 1000 Release 5.5 which has been forwarded to Voicemail.
3. When the call is redirected to the Voice mailbox of the second DN, the caller cannot leave a message and the B-channels of the Q.SIG trunk are not released.

This issue is a limitation of the Q.SIG path replacement feature on CS 1000 Release 5.5. All test scenarios involving Voicemail failed as a result of this limitation.


NOTE 2: ROBUSTNESS

After rebooting the Infinity system, it takes 3-5 minutes for the Q.SIG link between CS 1000 Release 5.5 and the Infinity system to become operational.
When the Infinity system is powered down, the TMDI/MSDL loop on CS 1000 Release 5.5 must be disabled and then re-enabled in order for the Q.SIG trunk to become operational again.
