Compatible Product configuration and testing notes for MediaPack Series by AudioCodes Inc. with Communication Server 1000 E/M
Note#1: Holding a conference call from MP118 is not applicable.Holding a conference call from MP118 requires a media server. These conference scenarios are not covered by this compatibility audit.
Note#2: Voicemail Interop1. Ensure MPLR21049 is applied
2. Enable History-Info on MP118
3. 5.20A.034.001 on MP118
Note#3: T38 codec in initial INVITE. CS1000 only supports T38 codec in re-INVITE where there is a fax call. MP118 in V.152 mode supports T38 in initial INVITE. Resolution: RemoveT38 from codecs list in MP118.
Note#4: Blind Transfer fails if MP118 is the transferor. This is due to replace header in the INVITE after the REFER is accepted. This is fixed by enable Semi Attended Transfer feature on MP118.
Note#5: Call is not released properly after consultative transfer from MP118 to CS1000.CS1000 phone#1 calls MP118, MP118 Consultation transfer to CS1000 phone#2. After phone#2 hangs up to end the call, phone#1 is not released. This is corrected by Nortel patch MPLR24514.
Note#6: CLID issue when calling MP118 from CS1000.When AssertedIdMode is used on MP118, if the UseTelURIForAssertedID=1, this will cause CLID issue when calling from MP118 to CS1K. Either setting the UseTelURIForAssertedID=0 or disabling AssertedIdMode will fix this issue.
