Compatible Product configuration and testing notes for Net-Net Session Director 4250 by Acme Packet with Multimedia Communication Server 5100


The testing configuration employed for the compatibility testing was:

MCS 5100------ Net-Net Session Director 4250------Enterprise Network Address Translation (NAT)----------PC Clients (using UDP protocol only)

- Sequential Ringing Calls.
- Hold and retrieve.
- Network-wide Call Park and Retrieval.
- Call Transfer.
- 3-Way Conference (both on Enterprise and on Peer side).
- Call Forwards.
- Transfer file, Share web and send instant messaging(IM).

TESTING NOTES:
- The Net-Net Session Director 4250 was provisioned as a trusted-node to Nortel’s Multi-media Communication Portfolio (MCP) Application Server version MCP_9.1.3.1_2007-8-20-1302. Provisioning was done using MCP’s system management console.
- The protocol employed for the test was UDP.
- The Contivity 1100 and D Link products were used as Consumer NAT devices for the Access environment.
- Nortel Mulltimedia PC clients version 4.0.231 were used as the PC Clients at three locations: registered on MCS5100 as a regular user, behind NAT1, and behind NAT2 for single NAT or different NAT testing.
