Compatible Product configuration and testing notes for Total Access 900/900e Series by ADTRAN, Inc. with Communication Server 2000
The test effort verified a basic level of interoperability between the Adtran Total Access 900/900e Series IP Business Gateways product release A.02.01 and Nortels Communication Server 2000 (CS 2000) Release SN10 using the SIP Lines protocol. This successful testing establishes the Adtran Total Access 900/900e Series IP Business Gateways product release A.02.01 as a Nortel Compatible product for the release(s) tested. Testing included basic communication and basic call functionality between the devices. It is the service providers responsibility to perform appropriate system and network integration of the Adtran Total Access 900/900e Series IP Business Gateways product release A.02.01 with the CS 2000 based on their network deployment requirements.

Additional Test Cases Requested by Vendor: - None
Not Executed Test Case Notes: - Redundancy, carrier grade, and traffic or robustness scenarios were not tested as these fall outside the bounds of basic Interoperability testing.
- Voice quality will only be checked through audible means between parties.
- Test cases not executed due to legacy lines not being available on the CS2K Compact switch. Simple call
workaround (no features) possible by calling out over SIP trunk between Compact and XA-Core switch
and terminating on Legacy line in that office in order to get SDP exchange.
- Test cases that were deemed N/A (not applicable) were so because of the following; Adtran device not supporting upspeed to G711, T38 manipulation, unable to disable call transfer, 6wc not supported and the use of SIP analog phones.
Limitations, Restrictions and Other Observations:- Certain test cases required disabling call transfer on the IAD/Gateway, this is unsupported on the Adtran 916/916e.
- Certain test cases required using the feature functionality of SIP clients, which the analog phones used in this event could not support.
