Compatible Product configuration and testing notes for Pannaway BAS-300 by Pannaway Technologies with Communication Server 2000


The test effort verified a basic level of interoperability between the Pannaway Technologies BAS ADSL48R product release Rv3.1.1.17 and Nortel’s Communication Server 2000 (CS 2000) Release SN09U. This successful testing establishes the Pannaway Technologies BAS ADSL48R product release Rv3.1.1.17 as a Nortel Compatible product for the release(s) tested. Testing included basic communication and basic call functionality between the devices. It is the service provider’s responsibility to perform appropriate system and network integration of the Pannaway Technologies BAS ADSL48R product release Rv3.1.1.17 with the CS 2000 based on their network deployment requirements.

Limitations, Restrictions and Other Observations:
For a list of executed test cases, a test report is available. The following assumptions and restrictions apply to this IOT:

1. Nortel will not test redundancy, carrier grade, or traffic as these tests fall outside of basic interop testing. Voice quality will only be checked through audible means between parties

2. RFC2833 and Fax/Modem Up-speed with Nortel H323 GW are not tested since they are not supported in the Nortel (I)SN09-U release.
