Compatible Product configuration and testing notes for BLC 6000 series by Occam Networks with DMS-10


The test effort verified a basic level of interoperability between the Occam BLC 6150, 6151, 6152, 6252, 6244, 6246 release 5.3r2 and Nortel’s DMS-10 Release 602.20. This successful testing establishes the Occam Series BLC 6150, 6151, 6152, 6252, 6244, 6246 as Nortel compatible products for the releases tested. Testing included basic communication and basic call functionality between the devices. Occam has indicated that the same software load used for testing on the BLC 6252 is the same software load used on the Occam Series SIP IAD’s. It is the service provider’s responsibility to perform appropriate system and network integration of the Occam Series IAD with the DMS-10 PGI based on their network deployment requirements.


Observations/Limitations/Exclusions:

-   ISUP Trunking was not tested due to lab restrictions

-   International Dialing was not tested due to lab restrictions.

-   Cancel Call Waiting using Vertical Service Code is not supported by the OCCAM device.

The Developer Product listed is verified in a laboratory environment as compatible with the indicated Nortel Product for a term of two (2) calendar years from the date the Compatibility Test Audit was successfully completed as indicated above, until the Developer issues a new version of such Developer Product that incorporates new features or functionality or until such time as Nortel issues a new version of such Nortel Product that incorporates new features or functionality, whichever occurs first.
