Compatible Product configuration and testing notes for Tellabs Series 1600 ONT (Models 611, 612, 613, 614, 621 and 625) by TELLABS, Inc with Communication Server 2000


The test effort verified a basic level of interoperability between the Tellabs 1600 Series ONT (Models 611, 612, 613 & 614), Release 12.0, and Nortel Communication Server 2000 (CS 2000), SN09U. This successful testing establishes the Tellabs 1600 Series ONTs as Nortel Networks compatible products for the releases tested. Testing included basic communication and basic call functionality between the devices. Tellabs has indicated that the software load used for testing on the 1600 Series is the same software load used on the Model 621 and Model 625 ONT. It is the service provider’s responsibility to perform appropriate system and network integration of the Tellabs ONT with CS 2000 based on their network deployment requirements.

Notes:
- Tellabs ONTs do not support G.729 codec
- Tellabs ONTs only supports a packetization rate of 20 milliseconds
- Tellabs ONTs do not support Multi-media features such as video, file transfer or instant messaging
- Tellabs ONTs support T.38 Fax Annex D but not Annex E

The Developer Product listed is verified in a laboratory environment as compatible with the indicated Nortel Product for a term of two (2) calendar years from the date the Compatibility Test Audit was successfully completed as indicated above, until the Developer issues a new version of such Developer Product that incorporates new features or functionality or until such time as Nortel issues a new version of such Nortel Product that incorporates new features or functionality, whichever occurs first.
