Compatible Product configuration and testing notes for QuickCOM Enterprise by Texas Digital, Inc. with Business Communications Manager 200/400
Nortel BCM 200/400 Configuration1. When configuring PRI lines to be forwarded to the Call Centre (under Call Pilot/Auto
Attendant/Line Administration), the target lines associated with the incoming dialled
numbers should be routed to the specific skillsets, as opposed to the trunk lines
corresponding to the PRI lines.
2. If Trunk lines without Disconnect Supervision are configured with the Call Center, it is
possible that abandoned calls (calls on queue where the calling party hangs up) may
not be released, until they are answered (and released) by an agent. Call statistics
will also reflect the call handling as an answered call (vs. an abandoned call).
Texas Digital QuickCOM Enterprise1. When querying historic call information, a query window cannot be more than 3
hours, due to a limitation in the window that BCM 200/400 has set (for payload /
bandwidth reasons) for the XML query.
2. The date/time on the PC where the QuickCOM Enterprise application is installed
should match as close as possible to the date/time of the BCM 200/400, since
realtime calculations are based on how much time has elapsed from a given
timestamp (obtained from the BCM).
The Texas Digital QuickCOM Enterprise 81128a (version 2.6.1.1), with related Dashboard Agent
(Version: 1.3.1) is compatible, with the stated limitations with Nortel BCM 200/400 Release 4.0:
1. The time window for a query made for any historic call statistics cannot exceed 3
hours.
2. Date/Time synchonization must exist between the BCM, and the PC on which the
QuickCOM Enterprise application is running, to ensure accurate reporting of realtime
elapsed durations.
