The test effort verified a basic level of interoperability between the Convergin - WCS Release 2.0, and Nortel’s Application Server 5200 (fka MCS 5200) Release MCS09. This successful testing establishes the Convergin - WCS as a Nortel certified product for the releases tested. Testing included basic communication and basic call functionality between the devices. It is the service provider’s responsibility to perform appropriate system and network integration of the Convergin WCS with the Application Server 5200 based on their network deployment requirements.

Test Exclusions:

-   Redundancy, carrier grade, and traffic or robustness scenarios were not tested as
these fall outside of basic interop testing.

- Voice quality was only checked through audible means between parties.

- Basic Audio Call Origination was not tested. The media stream for calls terminating to the CDMA/GSM will terminate through a SIP to PSTN gateway and not through the WCS. The WCS only supports the signaling interface for providing SIP to wireless features.

-   Basic Audio Call Origination - call is redirected via MCS (301) was not tested due to lab constraints.

-   Basic Audio Call Termination - Registration Forking was not tested. We should only ever get a single registration per user through the WCS (only one CDMA/GSM device should be using one user).
