Compatible Product configuration and testing notes for Mereon ™ Unified Messaging by IP Unity with Communication Server 2000

The test effort is considered a basic level of interoperability between the IP Unity Mereon Unified Messaging Server (UMS), release 3.1.03, and Nortel Communication Server 2000 (CS 2000), ISN09/SN09. This recognizes the IP Unity’s Mereon Unified Messaging as a Nortel compatible product for the releases tested. The testing included basic validation of SIP call control and SMDI interoperability between the devices. It is the service provider’s responsibility to perform the appropriate system and network integration of the IP Unity’s Mereon Unified Messaging with the CS 2000 based on their network deployment requirements.
