Compatible Product configuration and testing notes for TeleDirectory IP for Nortel CS 2000/2100 by Conveyant Systems, Inc. with Communication Server 2000


The test effort verified a basic level of interoperability between the TeleDirectory for IP Centrex, Release 2.6, and Nortel Communication Server 2000, SN09. This successful testing establishes the TeleDirectory for IP Centrex as a Nortel compatible product for the releases tested. Testing included basic communication and basic call functionality between the devices. It is the service provider’s responsibility to perform appropriate system and network integration of the TeleDirectory for IP Centrex with the CS 2000 based on their network deployment requirements.

Nortel testing included:

- Basic CICM to Conveyant Console communication
- Conveyant Console registration with CICM
- Conveyant Console recovery after IP outage
- CICM response to power outage of Conveyant Console.
- Messaging with IP security active on CICM
- Verification of all key assignments
- Basic codec negotiation and SDP acceptance
- Console to Various Endpoints
- SDP acceptance, negotiation and RTP packet analysis

Nortel did not test:

- Redundancy
- Carrier grade maintenance

The Developer Product listed is verified in a laboratory environment as compatible with the indicated Nortel Product for a term of two (2) calendar years from the date the Compatibility Test Audit was successfully completed as indicated above, until the Developer issues a new version of such Developer Product that incorporates new features or functionality or until such time as Nortel issues a new version of such Nortel Product that incorporates new features or functionality, whichever occurs first.
