The tests were performed on the following Nortel platforms:

- Nortel Business Communications Manager (BCM) 200/400, Release 4.0 Compatible Product designation granted by technical review.
FAX support - T.38 fax is not supported in cases where IP trunks (SIP or H.323) are used
- Due to the nature of test results, it is recommended that if FAX be used with the USB-ATA, that transmission speeds of 9600 bps or less be used, with ECM turned off, to improve the likelihood of a successful 1st transmission. Transmissions at 300 bps may be most reliable.
TTY support - Despite some instances of garbled text for both calling and called parties, it is possible to conduct an intelligible TTY conversation
MODEM support - Modem connectivity at 300 bps demonstrated the best reliability, in terms of staying connected, as well as noise on the connection.
Calling/Called Party Name Display: - Name display is not supported. Only numbers will be displayed
DTMF - Incoming DTMF was not successful when the USB-ATA is connected an a trunk on a PBX.
