Compatible Product configuration and testing notes for AppManager by NetIQ dba Attachmate with Contact Center Manager Server


The following information was noted during the testing and should be read when completing installation of the product:

Test Case SNMP Traps:

The instructions in the AppManager for Nortel Contact Centre guide states that the IP Address configured should be the ELAN IP Address. Nortle Specifies tha the Elan is only used from communication between the CCMS server and the Switch, no other trafiic should go on this subnet. When the CLAN IP address or the loop back IP Address (127.0.0.1) was configured as the Trap Address for the SNMP sewrvice no events were captured by the NortelCC_Alarms script but they were captutred by the Async_SNMP_trap script. It is recommended that the NortelCC_Alarms_script should be changed to work with the CLAN IP address.

Test Case Uninstall:

During the Uninstall it was noted that NetIQ Endpoint had to be removed separately, this was installed as all the defaults were accepted at install time even though it was never used.

Also after AppManager agent was removed from the NetIQ folder structure and some files remained along with registry entries.
