Compatible Product configuration and testing notes for SpeedStream 3610 by Siemens Subscriber Networks, Inc with Application Server 5200 (fka MCS 5200)


The test effort verified a basic level of interoperability between the Siemens SpeedStream 3610, Release 1.4, and Nortel’s Application Server 5200 (fka MCS 5200), Release 3.0. This successful testing establishes Siemens SpeedStream 3610 as a Nortel compatible product for the releases tested. Testing included basic communication and basic call functionality between the devices. It is the service provider’s responsibility to perform appropriate system and network integration of the Siemens SpeedStream 3610 with the Application Server 5200 based on their network deployment requirements.

Observation:

- Siemens SpeedStream 3610 does not support SIP INFO DTMF

- RTP Media Portal Selection Enhancements

Nortel did not test:
- Redundancy
- Capacity
- Voice Quality (beyond that discernible by the human ear)
- QoS
- SMS interworking

The Developer Product listed is verified in a laboratory environment as compatible with the indicated Nortel Product for a term of two (2) calendar years from the date the Compatibility Test Audit was successfully completed as indicated above, until the Developer issues a new version of such Developer Product that incorporates new features or functionality or until such time as Nortel issues a new version of such Nortel Product that incorporates new features or functionality, whichever occurs first.
