The test effort verified a basic level of interoperability between the Aastra IP terminal with Multimedia Communication Server 5100 and 5200 Release 3.0. Testing included basic communication and basic call functionality. It is the service provider/enterprise channel responsibility to perform appropriate system and network integration of the Aastra IP terminal with the MCS 5100/5200 based on their network deployment requirements.
