Compatible Product configuration and testing notes for DVG-G1402S by D-Link Networks with Application Server 5200 (fka MCS 5200)


The test effort is considered a basic level of interoperability between the DVG-G1402S, release B6.0S04Z, and Nortel’s Multimedia Communication Server 5200 MCS (5200), release 3.0. This recognizes that D-Link’s DVG-G1402S is a Nortel compatible product for the releases tested. Testing included basic communication and basic call functionality between the devices. It is the responsibility of the service provider to perform the appropriate system and network integration of the D-Link DVG-G1402S with MCS 5200 based on their network deployment requirements.

•    Call Transfer with and without a conference, 3-way calls
•    Call Redirect/Forward

•    Ad Hoc Call Conference (MAS Conference Server)
•    Meet Me Audio Conference
•    Announcements
•    Name and Number Presentation/Restriction
•    Presence
•    Voicemail/Carrier Unified Messaging
•    RTP Media Portal Selection Enhancements

Nortel did not test:
•    Voice quality (no MOS/PSQM validation)
•    Redundancy or Carrier Grade Maintenance
•    QoS and SMS interworking
•    Traffic/Capacity/Long Duration

The Developer Product listed is verified in a laboratory environment as compatible with the indicated Nortel Product for a term of two (2) calendar years from the date the Compatibility Test Audit was successfully completed as indicated above, until the Developer issues a new version of such Developer Product that incorporates new features or functionality or until such time as Nortel issues a new version of such Nortel Product that incorporates new features or functionality, whichever occurs first.
