The Nortel Developer Program is designed to accelerate the deployment of next generation Enterprise-class solutions by engaging innovative companies whose products and solutions complement Nortel communications platforms.

Developer Program members include companies delivering solutions focused on traditional and VoIP telephony, Call Centers, Multimedia applications (including Video), Enterprise Network & Service Management, and Enterprise Security.

Through program membership, companies gain access to world-class tools and resources designed to assist in the development and deployment of complementary solutions. These tools and resources include open access to a broad offering of Nortel Enterprise interface specifications and toolkits, remote access testing facilities, fee-based technical support and resources such as remote and online system access designed to enable Developers to conduct interoperability testing of their product(s), including SIP-enabled solutions for Nortel's Software Communication System (SCS).
