As the world-wide leader in Voice over IP market share, Nortel recognizes the need for customers and vendors to be able to interoperate with the Communication Server 2000.

Nortel is pleased to provide approved applicants access to a documentation suite.

There are two options for those wishing to obtain the documentation:

SIP Specification Only If you only wish to obtain the SIP Specification for review or development and you have no need for technical or Q/A support, you may complete a simple SIP Spec request form referencing the specification you require. Upon completion of the form, acceptance of Nortel's notice and approval of your application, you will be emailed the specification.

Specification and Support If you wish to obtain the SIP Specification and also desire access to fee-based technical / Q&A support, lab access and related services to support the development of Communication Server 2000 compatible third party products, you may choose to apply for membership to the Nortel Developer Program. To join the Developer Program and access the specification, please complete our Open Developer Enrollment Form as well as the SIP Spec request form referencing the specification you require.
