Q: What is the Global Consultant Liaison Program (CLP)?
A: The Consultant Liaison Program (CLP) was designed to meet the unique requirements of consultants who evaluate and recommend voice, data and unified communications technologies for their clients in a given region.

Q: What is the scope of the program?
A: The CLP has support groups for consultants in North America; Europe, Middle East, and Africa; Caribbean and Latin America; and Asia-Pacific covering Nortel products and solutions.

Q: What type of support does the program provide?
A: The CLP provides pre-sales marketing and technical product/solution information. Services are unique to each region however some of the member services include access to the "Consultant Community" site for access to the technical library, product bulletins, pricing, local engineering support, product briefings and a single point of contact along with email notifications related to Nortel news, seminars, industry events and specific events for consultants.

Q: What type of Consultants can become members of the Nortel Consultant Liaison Program?
A: The program is designed to support consultants that evaluate and recommend voice, data, and unified communications technologies for your client's requirements.

Q: I may not qualify as an independent, recommending consultant. Where can I receive support?
A: If you are an end-user, sell products, are a service provider or developer, Nortel has programs in place to support your requirements. For additional information regarding those programs please click here.

Q: What type of Consultants can become members of the Nortel Consultant Liaison Program?
A: The program is designed to support consultants that evaluate and recommend voice, data, and unified communications technologies for your client's requirements. It is not intended to provide break/fix technical support but can assist members in identifying resources from within Nortel's authorized channel partners or local Nortel branch offices.

Q: How do I become a member?
A: To become a member, you simply need to fill out a profile on our Membership page.

Q: What type of Events does the CLP participate in?
A: The CLP participates in key industry events best suited for educating our members. We also sponsor events such as road shows, special audio and/or web conferences and eSeminars, and other local demonstrations and seminars events focused for consultants and/or their clients.

Q: My company would like to become a distributor/reseller of Nortel products. What is the process?
A: There are many types of distributor/reseller in different levels of partnership with Nortel. To find out what type and level of partnership you would like and how to apply, please go to www.nortel.com/partners.

Q: How do I resolve technical questions or request briefings about Nortel solutions?

Q: How do I get assistance for engineering/configurations for a client project?
A: Contact a consultant relations manger who will assist in obtaining local Nortel support for demonstrations, briefings, configurations and/or pricing. Local Nortel resources will be assigned to assist you with specific client solutions or for demonstrations and briefings as required.
