Tell me about yourself and your experience at Nortel?
I am currently responsible for the CALA Enterprise Sales, Marketing and Engineering team. My main objective is to deliver the Financial Objectives, Orders, as well as to improve our Customer Loyalty in the region.

What are your career aspirations?
I would like to help other people realize their potentials and help them grow not only professionally but in every aspect of their lives.

What is most inspiring in your job?
The people. What sets a company apart from the rest of the pack is not the quality of their product, nor the cost of ownership of the solutions, nor how secure the product is, nor the amount of market share they own, nor their policies, nor their marketing, nor how good service and warranty they provide, nor how much do they re-invest in the market, nor how high is the stock price, nor any of those regular day to day business metrics. What really sets a company apart and make it successful is the PEOPLE... It is ALL about the people.

How do you compare Nortel to other companies or former employer(s)?
Nortel is like a big family. Even though it is a big company you feel the closeness of being with people that value your contribution and value you as a person.

What is so exiting about your job?
I work with customers and people in the field that are closer to the action. We are the ones with the responsibility of giving feedback to the Corporation in terms of strategy, products and solutions. Each customer is different and each solution has its own challenges, so it is a never-ending adventure.

What it is like to work in a global company?
A global company provides you with countless opportunities to grow, to meet other cultures and visit other countries. I have been able to visit over 30 different countries and work with their respective challenges and opportunities. It has given me the opportunity to live in other countries and enjoy, adapt and adopt other cultures.

What would you say to someone who would consider joining Nortel?
Come on board. This is a great company, with great people and with great culture. I have seen the difference, even with companies as big as Nortel, and even bigger, there is a something special here.
