Cheam Named Managing Director, Nortel Networks Malaysia
Cheam Tat-Inn has been appointed managing director, Nortel Networks* Malaysia. Cheam will be responsible for delivering the high-performance Internet to customers in this market. Cheam has extensive experience in the information technology and communications industries in Malaysia with companies including Compaq Computer and IBM. Prior to joining Nortel Networks, he was president of Arcadian Wireless, a Silicon Valley company that provides fixed wireless last mile solutions for emerging and rural markets. “We are delighted to welcome Cheam Tat-Inn in his new role,” said Masood Tariq, president, Nortel Networks Asia Pacific. “Cheam has significant expertise in the communications industry in Malaysia that further strengthens Nortel Networks commitment to enterprise, carrier and service provider customers in this important market.” Cheam holds an MBA from Henley Management College in the United Kingdom.
