Ruchi A. Prasad

As Vice President and General Manager for the Innovative Communications Alliance (ICA) with Microsoft, Ms. Prasad is responsible for defining the future of Unified Communications (UC) in context of Microsoft and Nortel Enterprise Solutions as well as defining the UC product intersections points to develop the ICA product roadmap. She is also responsible for defining and implementing Global Go To Market (GTM) programs to realize mindshare and market-share objectives.
Ms. Prasad was most recently Leader of Global Marketing and Strategy for Enterprise Solutions at Nortel. In this capacity, she was responsible for strategic plan development and execution, global market messaging, competitive analysis and strategies, product/solutions marketing, and business development across Nortel's global Enterprise product portfolio.
Prior, she was Leader of Global Product Marketing and Strategy for Nortel's CDMA wireless business, where she was responsible for positioning and promoting the company's CDMA portfolio, including driving market strategies and influencing product portfolio evolution. Ruchi also served as single point of contact for the Nortel's strategic partnership with Qualcomm.
With more than seventeen years of service with Nortel, Ms. Prasad has a diverse background with leadership experience in product and project management, global marketing, business strategy, business development and managing 3rd party relationships. She holds an MBA from the University of Texas at Dallas, a Master of Business Economics from Delhi University, India, and a Bachelor of Science with Honors in Physics from Delhi's St. Stephens College.
